Full Stack Software Engineer

On behalf of Pentas Vision, a subsidiary company of Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (SSS), we are seeking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who is highly analytical and driven to enhance and optimise our platforms, aligned with the business expertise and purpose.

Pentas Vision specialises in the research and development of AI and in particular - Computer Vision technologies. Our core expertise lies in integrating AI solutions with diverse Image Sensors, facilitating seamless incorporation into embedded devices like mobile phones, IoT cameras, and other relevant devices.

What you will be doing

Architecting and deploying cloud and on-premise web services tailored for AI/ML workloads.

Craft clean code to achieve low coupling and high cohesion, ensuring the platform service is extensible, scalable and maintainable

Proactively participate in the end-to-end AI platform service development process, participate as the main contributor for the web services

Comfortable with frontend development and capable of contributing to React-based frontend development

Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to deliver the desirable AI solutions together

What you should have

Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM from a reputable university

Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering especially in web development, with strong focus on backend development and proven frontend development capabilities

Expertise with any modern web framework like FastAPI / Django / GoFrame

Practical experience in HTML / CSS / Typescript and any frontend framework like React.js or Vue.js

Knowledge of database system like MySQL, Postgres and caching system like Redis are required

Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services, familiarity with containerization like Docker and Kubernetes is highly preferred
