Software Engineer (Payment Network) - Global Payment - Singapore

The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions to ensure a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. The Payment Network team in Global Payment ensures a secure, professional, and efficient overseas payment solution.

Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality software design and architecture;

Identify, prioritise, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle;

Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code;

Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting;

Review and debug code; Perform validation and verification testing;

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to fix and improve our products;

Document development phases and monitor systems;

Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience;

Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages, such as Java/Go/C++/C#/Python;

Excellent proficiency in backend server development and expertise in relational database;

Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to details.

Preferred Qualification:

Minimum 3 years relevant work experience from a large-scale internet business.
