About the Role

We are looking for a versatile

Backend Developer

to join our engineering team. Our environment relies on multiple languages to solve different problems, primarily

Golang

and

Python

. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the server-side logic that powers our applications.

The ideal candidate is a language-agnostic problem solver who enjoys working across different tech stacks and takes pride in writing clean, efficient code.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Development:

Design and implement high-quality backend services and APIs using

Go

and

Python

.

System Maintenance:

Monitor, debug, and optimize existing services to ensure high performance and reliability.

Database Management:

Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and efficient storage.

Collaboration:

Work closely with frontend developers and product managers to translate requirements into functional technical solutions.

Best Practices:

Participate in code reviews and contribute to internal documentation to maintain high engineering standards.

Qualifications

Multi-Language Proficiency:

Professional experience working with both

Golang

and

Python

in a production environment.

Backend Fundamentals:

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side logic.

Data Knowledge:

Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Cloud & Tooling:

Familiarity with Docker, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Problem Solving:

Ability to choose the right language and tool based on the specific needs of a project.
