Position Overview

We are seeking a

dynamic and motivated Project Engineer

to join our team. This role is open to candidates from

Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering disciplines , ranging from

fresh graduates to mid-career professionals . The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in

project management , excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Experience in the

power plant industry

or large-scale industrial projects is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover.

Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.

Liaising/ collaborating with Local Authorities and Regulators in the consultations, submissions, and securing the necessary permits and approvals for the projects.

Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Provide progress updates to leadership.

Technical Support:

Prepare project technical specifications, evaluate tenders, and liaise with vendors and contractors.

Conduct site inspections and oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safety codes, and company quality requirements.

Ensure contractors fulfil statutory obligations, securing necessary permits and approvals.

Prepare reports, maintain project documentation, and support audits.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, regulators, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.

Fresh graduates are welcome candidates with 5-8 years

power plant or industrial project experience

will have an advantage.

Other Information

Skills:

Strong project management and organisational skills.

Proficient in MS Office and familiar with modern engineering software/tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, covering both

site-based and desk-bound tasks .

Good knowledge of

Singapore Standards, Codes of Practice , and statutory requirements.

Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
