Frontend Developer

To accelerate delivery of our AWS Platform improvement program, we are looking to bring in an additional frontend developer with a strong React development background to strengthen our team. You'll play a key role in building modern, scalable, and user-centric interfaces that enhance our cloud platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and testable code

Ensure code quality through peer reviews, adherence to coding standards, and best practices

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

Support integration with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices

Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues to ensure smooth operation in production

Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends

Requirement:

Minimum 4-5 years of professional frontend development experience over 9 years of IT experience

Strong proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (React Hooks, Context API, etc.)

Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, ESBuild, etc.)

Familiarity with version control using Git

Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services

Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, etc.)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields

Preferred

Experience with AWS services (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)

Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures (Module Federation, single-spa, etc.)

Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, MobX)

Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira

Understanding of frontend security best practices (XSS, CSRF prevention, etc.)

Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)

Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards
