Our client is an established design-and-build company with a strong portfolio of industrial, commercial and large-scale building projects. They are seeking an experienced

QA/QC Engineer

to support quality assurance and quality control throughout project execution.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain

QA/QC procedures, inspection plans and quality standards

across projects.

Conduct site inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

Review

method statements, inspection & test plans (ITPs), material submissions and technical documentation .

Coordinate inspections and testing with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.

Identify and follow up on

non-conformities, defects and corrective actions

to ensure timely resolution.

Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports and documentation for project handover and audits.

Attend quality meetings and coordinate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Monitor subcontractors' workmanship and ensure compliance with approved materials and construction methods.

Support project teams in achieving required

quality, safety and statutory standards .

Assist with project audits, testing, commissioning and final handover documentation.

Requirements

Degree / Diploma in

Civil Engineering, Building, Construction or a related discipline .

Minimum

3 years of QA/QC experience

in building, industrial or design-and-build projects.

Good knowledge of construction methods, quality standards and inspection procedures.

Familiar with

ITP, method statements, material submissions, NCR and QA/QC documentation .

Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.

Knowledge of Singapore building codes and regulatory requirements.

Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills.

Candidates with

ISO 9001 / QAQC certifications

will be advantageous.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Location: North West

Working hours: 5.5 Days

Salary: up to S$6,000, AWS and VB(Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
