Job description
Create and update 3D models, detailed drawings and design documentation using CAD tools.
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance checks to validate designs.
Support prototype builds, testing, and analyse results for design improvements.
Work with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
Interpret specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards to guide design work.
Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and document design outputs.
Troubleshoot design issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Share knowledge with peers and contribute to process or workflow improvements.
Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Proficient in CAD software, preferably in AutoCad & SolidWorks
Preferably with knowledge in Jigs & Fixtures design
Experience in the semiconductor industry.
3-5 years of relevant experience
