Electrical & Controls Engineer

Our client, a global engineering and technology company, isexpanding its Data Centre engineering team in Singapore and is seeking anexperienced Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer to support thedesign and development of modular data centre infrastructure solutions acrossAsia.

Location: Singapore West

Employment: Contract (1 year renewable/convertible)

Industry: Data Centre / Modular Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

Design industrial electrical systems, power distribution systems and control panel architectures.

Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and cable schedules.

Support PLC programming, HMI development and industrial communication networks.

Support integration with BMS and customer control platforms.

Ensure designs comply with relevant international electrical codes and standards.

Support manufacturing, FAT, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Work closely with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Project Engineering, suppliers and customers.

Provide technical support to manufacturing partners and project sites across Asia.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in electrical engineering, industrial controls or automation.

Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and industrial control panel design.

Good understanding of PLC-based automation systems.

Familiarity with electrical schematics, P&IDs, control drawings and wiring diagrams.

Experience in manufacturing, commissioning or industrial equipment environments.

Travel: Up to 40% within Asia.
