Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and management of security tools and controls such as DLP, EDR, SIEM, Cloud Security, Firewalls, and WAF
Monitor security alerts and perform initial triage and investigation of potential threats
Assist in developing and tuning detection rules and use cases , including insider risk scenarios
Analyse logs and security events to identify anomalies or suspicious activities
Work closely with internal teams to ensure security controls are properly configured and maintained
Contribute to incident response activities and post-incident reviews
Maintain documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and processes
Support automation and continuous improvement of security operations
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Cyber Security, IT, or related field
3-8 years of experience in security operations, SOC, or security engineering (open to strong junior candidates)
Basic to intermediate knowledge of security tools (e.g. SIEM, EDR, DLP, firewalls)
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
Exposure to log analysis, incident response, or threat monitoring is advantageous
Scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus
Strong willingness to learn, with good analytical and problem-solving skills
