My client is looking for a Cloud Engineer to focus specifically in AWS to support their internal analytics platform. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining and implementing cloud infrastructure and backend services. You'll work across infrastructure, data pipelines and integration APIs. More details can be found below.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for their telematics analytics platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
Develop and optimize Python services, SQL schemas, and data workflows
Implement security, monitoring, and cost controls following team standards
Build & maintain APIs/SDKs that enable secure client integration with our platform
Collaborate with data, product and business teams to develop innovative cloud solutions.
Qualifications
Minimally 2 years of experience in Python
Minimally 1-2 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining AWS services in production
Strong understanding of database schema design and SQL querying
Experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of AWS Cloud principles and the well-architected framework.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field
Technical Skills
Programming Languages: Python
AWS: Lambda, RDS, S3, Step Functions, API Gateway, CloudFormation, CloudFront, VPC, CloudWatch, SNS/Eventbridge
Database Technologies: SQL, Database Schema Design
Additional Skills: AWS Cloud Security, GitLab, Git
