Data Migration Consultant (FI & PS)

Role Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled  Data Migration Consultant (Finance & Project Systems) to lead and coordinate all finance-related data migration activities within an  SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation . This role is pivotal in ensuring the  accurate, complete, and timely migration of financial master and transactional data , supporting a seamless transformation from legacy systems to SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead discussions with business stakeholders to define  data migration scope ,  mapping rules ,  transformation logic , and  reconciliation requirements for finance-related data.

Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business data stewards to ensure alignment on  financial data requirements .

Coordinate with the  technical build team to ensure ETL development meets finance-specific needs.

Plan and manage execution of all  data migration mock cycles , including status tracking, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.

Facilitate  briefings and working sessions with finance teams to ensure user readiness and buy-in.

Oversee and troubleshoot data cleansing and loading activities, ensuring high  data quality, accuracy, and completeness .

Resolve reconciliation issues and provide support during  cutover and post-go-live stabilization .

Expected Outcomes:

Financial master and transactional data objects are migrated  accurately and completely .

All mock cycles and cutover activities are executed  on time and with minimal disruption .

Finance stakeholders are  engaged, informed, and supported throughout the migration lifecycle.
