Java Software Engineer - Perm Role

What You Will Be Working On

Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for safety-critical and mission-critical applications, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.

Develop software using programming languages such as

C++, Python, Java, Rust, GoLang , and other relevant technologies based on project needs.

Apply software safety and cybersecurity best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Lead and provide technical guidance to software development teams, working closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Develop and execute test plans, conduct code reviews, system validation, and troubleshooting to ensure software integrity and reliability.

Support software deployment, integration, testing activities, and maintain technical documentation for compliance and audit requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Degree or equivalent qualification in

Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology , or related fields.

Minimum

6 years of professional software development experience

in enterprise or mission-critical environments.

Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, system design, and integration patterns including

microservices and cloud-native architectures .

Experience with

REST APIs, API integrations, messaging systems, or event streaming platforms

is advantageous.

Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, cloud architecture, and secure software development practices.

Experience with

cloud platforms, containerisation technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform/Helm) .

Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing frameworks, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) .

Experience developing high-availability, high-performance, or real-time software systems is advantageous.
