Staff / Principal software Engineer Remote

What You'll Be Building

Design and develop high-performance backend services powering large-scale customer-facing products

Build AI-native applications by integrating LLMs, intelligent workflows, MCP, RAG, or agent-based capabilities into production systems

Own backend architecture across microservices, APIs, distributed systems, caching, messaging, and cloud infrastructure

Drive engineering excellence around scalability, observability, performance, reliability, and developer productivity

Collaborate closely with product, data, AI, and infrastructure engineers to deliver impactful features

Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, and mentoring (Senior / Staff / Principal scope depending on experience)

We're Looking For

Strong software engineering fundamentals with Java, Golang, Javascript or Python

Experience building production backend systems at scale

Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, databases, caching, messaging, APIs, and cloud platforms

Experience with AI applications, LLM integrations, AI agents, MCP, RAG, workflow orchestration, or intelligent automation is highly valued

Comfortable owning systems end-to-end, from design through production operations

Strong communication skills and product mindset

Nice to Have

Experience in Search, Recommendation, Personalisation, Ranking, Payments, Marketplace, E-commerce, or Platform Engineering
