Engineer – SSD Performance About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated contractor to join Micron's SSD Performance Team. This team plays a critical role in validating and optimizing the performance of our Data Center SSD products.

Scope of Work

Support the development and execution of performance test plans for DC SSD programs.

Set up test environments and systems for validation, including BIOS configuration and Linux OS installation.

Conduct testing, perform debugging and failure analysis to resolve issues observed during testing.

Update test plans and communicate project status regularly.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.

Proficiency in Python and Linux BASH scripting.

Basic understanding of SSD architecture and familiarity with SSD performance metrics/tools.

Fast learner, positive attitude and able to collaborate with different team members.

Comfortable working in an ESD-protected lab environment.
