Infrastructure Engineer - Network (Singapore)

The Opportunity.

Thakral One is looking for an

Infrastructure Engineer – Network

to design, deploy, and modernize enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and network security, driving compliant, scalable solutions while advising teams and mitigating risk across hybrid and cloud environments.

The Role.

Key Responsibilities

Applies deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies focused on analyzing complex data and systems, anticipating issues, and finding ways to mitigate risk

Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes

Be responsible for infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirements

Drives results and implements multiple complex programs

Drives thought leadership within the product line

Executes work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectives

Considers upstream/downstream system or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions

Advises junior engineers and technologists

The Expertise.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines

5+ years of full stack network design and deployment

Expert level knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as software defined networks / zero touch provisioning, SD-WAN, fabric switching, Wi-Fi, and network security technologies and practices.

Experience with wired/wireless LAN/BGP WAN/SD-WAN and 802.1x technologies from vendors including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, and Forescout

Adept in specific network infrastructure technology and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, etc.)

Deep technical knowledge across multiple domains

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
