Junior Algorithm Engineer

Location:

Singapore(Onboarding & training in Shenzhen, China)

Responsibilities:

Navigation Algorithm Development

Participate in the development of global path planning, local obstacle avoidance and dynamic-environment-adaptive algorithms for surface/underwater robotic pool cleaners (e.g., complex pool corners, step transitions).

Participate in robot algorithm performance optimization and issue fixing.

System Debugging & Engineering

Participate in sensor calibration, data collection and system integration testing.

Write technical documentation.

Requirements:

Education & Major:

Fresh Master's graduate in Automation, Control Engineering, Navigation, Guidance and Control, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related fields.

Core Skills:

Proficient in C++ programming with development experience in Linux environments; familiar with third-party libraries such as Eigen and OpenCV.

Familiar with the ROS (Robot Operating System).

Solid mathematical foundation, with mastery of linear algebra, nonlinear optimization and Kalman filtering.

Project Experience:

Experience in robot navigation/control algorithm development (e.g., competitions, research projects or open-source projects).

Knowledge of multi-sensor fusion (LiDAR, IMU, ultrasonic, etc.) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Participation in robot-related projects (e.g., robot vacuums, autonomous driving).

Publications or patents related to robot control algorithms.
