Project Engineer – Singapore, Digital Energy Digital Building Application Center Team
The project team is committed to delivering quality and professionalism to satisfy our customers' expectations. In this role, you will identify customer needs, explore opportunities for enhancements, and suggest the best designs to effectively deliver projects to our clients. This role will be part of the
Schneider Early Career Program (SECP) , a one‑year program designed for high‑potential professionals with 3–5 years of experience. Participants accelerate their growth via structured development, stretch assignments, and mentorship from leaders across the organization.
What will you do?
Responsibilities
Full ownership and responsibility for the success of small to mid size projects
Identify variation orders, such as identifying and interpreting the customer change request
Track and report project progress to customers and management in a timely manner, including submittal/approval, cost, schedule, manpower, procurement and quality issue updates
Control cost, monitor, forecast and ensure delivery of financial commitment, cost, revenue, invoices to meet company forecast of sales
Attend customer meetings, follow up on customer inquiries, requests and concerns, provide prompt and positive feedback with solutions, plan work schedule for the project under responsibility
Support project manager in large/complex project situations when required
Conduct up to REL3 review with stakeholders with confidence and provide accurate data
On‑time project review with Project Leader with accurate update of SGV
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Education
Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering or related degree. PMI certification preferred.
Job Related Experience
3–5 years of working experience
Project management in system integration and building management system or ACMV system
Business Understanding
BMS, Mechanical and ACMV control
Others
Innovative and has strong passion for energy efficiency and building management
Pro‑active and self‑motivated team player
Go‑getter, over achiever and great aptitude for sales
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good presenter and able to communicate fluently with customers
Able to work independently
Exposure to projects execution in Singapore
