Your Talent Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Professional: 1-2 years of relevant experience in the retail industry
IT Skills: Experienced in accounting system (SAP); Excellent MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Your Mission The purpose of this role is to provide support for retail accounting; maintain fixed asset register and liaise with IC partners to ensure IC transaction(s) and balances matches.
Task 1: Supporting finance retail operations by ensuring daily sales reports are updated timely by ensuring sales flow from POS to SAP timely, cash collected(reported) per store matches third party report/ bank statements. Posting of all bank/retail voucher deposits/receipts. Ensures all retail receivables/deposit(s) are collected timely and providing necessarily follow up with vendor and updating to line manager.
Task 2: Support month end closing by ensuring all GST rounding from retail gets rectified and GTO gets reported to landlord timely. Review and post recurring retail related accruals. Maintain all schedules for deposits (mainly renovation/security/ advances), prepayments (e.g. insurance) etc. Post related month end JVs for retail, e.g. accounting for uncollected/confirmed vendor receivables. Ensure deposits are recovered on a timely basis.
Task 3: Maintain fixed asset schedules and keep it up to date, ensuring assets are complete, exist and valued correctly. Liaise with business partners to ensure FA forecast is complete, accurate and valued correctly.
Task 4: Ensure integrity of intercompany transactions and balances by performing month-end IC confirmations. Resolve intercompany issues with respective IC partners on a timely basis. Prepare summary of IC transaction & balances annually for transfer pricing study and audit reporting.
Task 5: Assist in GTO audit, local statutory audit, month end closing activities, retail staff query support. To arrange payment terminal for new retail stores/events and liaise with payment vendors. To setup GIRO.
Task 6: Other duties as assigned by the finance team.
