Management Trainee

Job Responsibilities:

Learn and supportday-to-daygrocery/retail storeoperations.

Assist the OperationsManager inmanaging store activitiesand staff.

Provide high-qualitycustomer service andproduct recommendations.

Monitor sales performance, promotions and storetargets.

Assist with inventorymanagement, stock replenishment, ordering and receivingof goods.

Monitor product expirydates, wastage andstock accuracy.

Coordinate with suppliersand internal departmentson stock requirements.

Learn cashiering, merchandising, receiving and otherretail functions.

Assist with staffscheduling, training anddaily manpower coordination.

Handle customer feedbackand resolve operationalissues.

Support e-commerce/online order fulfilmentwhen required.

Work closely withdepartments such asbutchery, kitchen, logisticsand retail.

Work closely with the Marketing team to support and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, in-store activities and other marketing initiatives as required.

Take on ad-hoc projects andresponsibilities assignedby management.

Progressively take ongreater responsibilitywith the goalof moving intoa Retail Supervisor / Operations/ Store Management position.

Job Requirements:

Diploma/Degree inBusiness, Retail Management, Hospitality, F&Bor a relateddiscipline would beadvantageous.

Fresh graduates orcandidates with retail/F&B/customer-service experience are welcomed.

Strong communication andinterpersonal skills.

Positive, proactive andwilling-to-learnattitude.

Comfortable working ina fast-pacedretail environment.

Good organisational andproblem-solving skills.

Customer-oriented andable to workwell with ateam.

Willing to work 6 days perweek, including weekendsand public holidays .
