Electrical Project Engineer -Pharmaceutical industry
Manages electrical, instrumentation, and control (E&I) systems for manufacturing plants, ensuring strict compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (
cGMP
) and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution:
Manage capital expenditure (
CAPEX
) projects, including cost estimation, scheduling via tools like MS Project, and budget control.
Design & Review:
Interpret User Requirement Specifications (
URS
), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (
P&IDs
), and electrical schematic drawings.
Compliance & Validation:
Support Factory Acceptance Testing (
FAT
), Site Acceptance Testing (
SAT
), and Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (
CQV
) processes.
Vendor & Contractor Management:
Prepare bidding documents, evaluate vendor proposals, and oversee on-site electrical construction and installation activities safely.
Essential Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with
cGMP
, Environmental, Health, and Safety (
EHS
) guidelines, and local electrical codes.
