Electronic Design Engineer

Job Description

Gateway Search is proud to partner with one of the leading R&D and manufacturers of automation technology to bring on board Electronic Design Engineer.

In this role,

Research, design and development of industrial sensors including circuitry and PCB layout

Responsible for prototyping of PCB assembly

Create test plan and perform System verification and Product Verification and Validation

Collaborate with cross functional teams to sustain the product lifecycle including customer complaints, components obsolescence, failure analysis, etc.

Liaising with Headquarter for technical support and technology transfer

Verify regulatory compliance (UL, CE, etc.) with support from approval department

To be successful in this role,

Degree in Electronic/Optoelectronic Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years relevant experience in electronic design and development

Good knowledge in digital and analogue circuits and PCB layout

Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

Experience in photonic design is an advantage

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Creative, self-driven and willing to acquire new skills and grow in the position
