We are looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to support the reliability, performance and security of enterprise network environments. The role covers day-to-day network operations, routing and switching, secure connectivity, monitoring and incident support within a managed services environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across switches, routers and related connectivity services.
Configure and support Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs and routing protocols to maintain stable and efficient connectivity.
Perform configuration backups, change tracking and capacity or utilisation reviews across the network environment.
Troubleshoot network availability, connectivity and performance issues and coordinate timely restoration of service.
Support firewall, VPN and other secure connectivity controls used across the infrastructure environment.
Administer data-centre and software-defined networking technologies in line with operational requirements.
Use network monitoring tools to identify faults, analyse trends and support preventive actions before service is affected.
Maintain network documentation and runbooks, and participate in an after-hours support rotation for critical incidents.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in network support, monitoring or troubleshooting within enterprise or data-centre environments.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and switching, including protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
Hands-on exposure to data-centre switching, SDN, firewalls, VPN technologies and network monitoring tools.
ITIL Foundation and CCNA, or equivalent certifications, with good troubleshooting, communication and teamwork skills.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, excluding Public Holidays.
The role includes participation in an after-hours support rotation for critical incidents.
