About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise-scale KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and AI-driven system integration projects within the banking domain. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end technical project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring successful production deployments, and working closely with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and technology teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of KYC, AML, and AI-related system integration projects.

Drive pre-project planning activities, including technical solution design, architecture discussions, effort estimation, resource planning, delivery planning, and technical documentation.

Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders and business users.

Coordinate implementation activities across multiple application teams to ensure smooth production deployment with minimal business disruption.

Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Security teams, Development Leads, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.

Manage project timelines, technical deliverables, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare technical design documents, implementation plans, deployment documentation, and operational handover materials.

Work closely with Production Support teams to perform root cause analysis, code reviews, defect resolution, and unit testing where required.

Partner with Testing teams to ensure successful completion of SIT, UAT, Performance Testing, Load Testing, and Security Testing.

Coordinate with business users to prepare test cases, test data, and mock run activities prior to production deployment.

Manage change requests, release approvals, deployment schedules, and post-production support activities.

Coordinate with internal technology teams and external vendors to ensure timely project delivery.

Provide regular project status updates, proactively identify delivery risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 12 years of IT industry experience .

Minimum 3 years of experience within Banking or Financial Services .

At least 8 years of Technical Project Management experience leading enterprise application delivery.

At least 8 years of hands-on experience with:

Unix Shell Scripting

Oracle Database

Java

Strong experience in system architecture, software design, and UI/UX solution design.

Proven experience delivering or managing KYC/AML implementation projects .

Experience working with vendor AML solutions such as NetReveal , Detica , or similar platforms.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large data volumes and complex technical environments.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Hadoop ecosystem and Big Data technologies.

Experience with NoSQL databases.
