QC Engineer

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

. Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection.

. Operate CMM to carry out dimensional inspections.

. Use various QC measuring equipment.

. Read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.

. Develop methods and checklist for inspection.

. Prepare First Article and Final QC Inspection Reports.

. Identify and report non-conforming parts.

. Support production in resolving quality issues.

. Maintain inspection records and ensure measuring equipment are calibrated.

. Assist in design of various fixtures and tooling for in house inspection.

Job Requirements:

. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Precision or Manufacturing Engineering.

. Must have hands-on experience operating and programming CMM, preferably PCDMIS.

. Able to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.

. Experience in precision engineering or machining is preferred.

. Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 is an advantage.

. Dedicated, responsible and able to work independently.
