Key Responsibilities

Design, write, and execute test cases for performance, load, stress, scalability, and reliability testing.

Execute non-functional testing manually and using automation tools to ensure systems meet non-functional requirements and standards.

Perform REST API, IBM MQ, and GUI performance testing.

Conduct load testing and resiliency/failover testing.

Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on system performance and reliability.

Develop and use scripts to execute tests and collect performance metrics.

Collaborate with various teams to facilitate testing activities and resolve performance-related issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

3+ years of relevant experience as a Non-Functional Tester / Performance Test Engineer.

Hands-on experience in REST API, IBM MQ, GUI performance testing, load testing, and resiliency/failover testing.

Scripting experience with Bash, Perl, or Python.

Strong experience working on UNIX/Linux platforms.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of financial markets products such as Indices, Equities, Commodities, FX, and Fixed Income is an added advantage.
