We are looking for

An Application Engineer to join our Singapore team. In this role, you will provide technical support, training, and communication to dedicated customers and subsidiaries on all technical aspects of the application and integration of ETEL products.

Provide technical training and support to subsidiaries and customers on the use of ETEL products.

Maintain, and update training and course materials.

Generate and update application and technical notes.

Act as an expert on ETEL products, understanding their use in different customer contexts.

Analyze problems and find solutions to meet customer and market needs.

Develop best-known methods and best practices for the use of ETEL products.

Support our sales teams by providing demos and technical information on our products and assist them during customer negotiations.

Perform commissioning of ETEL products, tests and demonstration.

Your profile

Bachelor or Master Degree in engineering (electronic, mechatronic, physics or equivalent).

Proven experience in mechatronics or industrial machine design is an asset.

Good programming skills in C/C++ and C#.

Knowledge of control/regulation theory.

Additional programming knowledge (MATLAB, Python, etc.).

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Autonomous, with the ability to take responsibility for a customer.

Result-oriented, with the ability to make technical decisions and deliver the required solution.

Proactive, with a “can-do” attitude.

Very good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.

Customer-oriented, with good negotiation skills.

Able to handle pressure.

Organized, structured and rigorous.

Strong analytical thinking, systematic problem-solving skills.

Available for frequent travel across Asia, as well as initial and refresher training in Switzerland.
