Project Engineer (ACMV) Construction Projects

Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate ACMV works for building construction projects.

Review project specifications, drawings and technical requirements.

Prepare method statements, shop drawings, inspection checklists and technical submissions.

Perform ACMV calculations including system performance and static pressure calculations.

Assist with selection and sizing of AHUs, FCUs, ducting and chilled water piping.

Coordinate ACMV installation works with architectural, electrical, plumbing and other M&E trades.

Coordinate site activities and ensure works are carried out according to project requirements.

Support testing, balancing and commissioning of ACMV systems.

Prepare and coordinate Variation Order, claim and as-built documentation.

Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

Requirements

ITE, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Candidates with experience in ACMV installation, project coordination, chilled water systems, AHU/FCU, ducting and testing & commissioning will have an advantage.

Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

Able to work effectively in a site/project environment.
