About the Role Our client, a leading global financial institution, is undergoing a major cloud transformation initiative and is looking for a Java Developer to help modernization in the cloud space.
You will contribute to the evolution of legacy systems into modern cloud-native solutions, working on highly scalable applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java applications.
Build scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS.
Participate in application modernization initiatives.
Develop RESTful services and backend components.
Perform code reviews and implement engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and business teams.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of Java development experience.
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Java fundamentals.
Experience with AWS services.
Strong SQL and database skills.
Experience with Git and Agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have
Experience in financial services companies
Kafka or event-driven architecture experience.
Hadoop, Spark, or big data technologies.
Microservices architecture.
DevOps and CI/CD exposure.
