DevSecOps Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on

DevSecOps Engineer

to support the design, implementation, automation, and maintenance of secure cloud and containerised environments. The role will work closely with development, operations, and project teams to build scalable CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure deployment, strengthen security controls, and support day-to-day DevOps operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain

CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD

.

Work closely with development and operations teams to define and implement suitable

DevOps strategies, workflows, and toolsets

.

Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on

AWS

using

Infrastructure-as-Code

, including

Terraform, Terraform Cloud, or AWS CloudFormation

.

Build, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud and containerised environments.

Automate infrastructure configuration, application deployment, system monitoring, and security hardening.

Support containerised platforms using technologies such as

Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift

.

Implement security controls and hardening standards across development, testing, deployment, and production environments.

Support

Day 2 operations

, including system monitoring, deployment, backup, maintenance, incident troubleshooting, and health checks.

Develop scripts and automation using

Python, Bash, or other relevant scripting languages

.

Configure and maintain automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment environments.

Support container image build and deployment pipelines.

Work with networking components including

TCP/IP,

DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and related infrastructure

.

Apply DevSecOps and security best practices, including familiarity with standards such as

CIS benchmarks

.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an

Agile environment

.

Explore and support emerging technologies such as

MLOps, agentic AI, RAG-based knowledge retrieval, and enterprise AI integrations

, where relevant.

Requirements

Degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related discipline

.

Hands-on experience in

DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related roles

.

Strong practical experience building and maintaining

GitLab CI/CD pipelines

.

Hands-on experience with

AWS Cloud

.

Strong experience with

Terraform

experience with

HashiCorp Terraform Cloud

is highly preferred.

Experience with

AWS CloudFormation

will be advantageous.

Good hands-on experience with

Infrastructure-as-Code

and configuration management.

Experience with

Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Red Hat OpenShift

.

Experience with automation tools such as

Ansible and Terraform

.

Good scripting or programming experience using

Python, Bash, Java, or similar languages

.

Good understanding of

continuous integration, continuous testing, version control, software configuration management, and deployment automation
