Knowledge Management Lawyer

Job Description

We are seeking a Knowledge Management (KM) Lawyer to join our Knowledge Management (KM) team which is led by the Regional Director of KM who has been practising legal KM in Singapore for more than two decades.

Working closely with the existing Rajah & Tann Asia (RTA) KM team, you will play a key role in advancing RTA's publications, learning & development, knowhow development and AI-enabled knowhow initiatives.

Your key responsibilities include:

Publications & Thought Leadership

Draft, edit and manage RTA publications and thought leadership pieces

Curate and develop thought leadership ideas that showcase the legal expertise of our Practice Groups

Training, Learning & Development (L&D)

Collaborating with the Firm's EXCO Talent Development, L&D and KM Committee to design and deliver legal and AI-enabled training programmes for our lawyers including Practice-specific training sessions

Curate, organise and administer the Firm's L&D initiatives in accordance with the RTA Lawyer Development Framework

Support training standardisation and quality enhancement, including working with PG Heads and speakers to ensure consistency and relevance of training decks and materials

Knowhow & Content Ownership

Work with PG Heads and their knowhow representatives to curate, develop and maintain practice-specific knowhow

Structure content for effective use in both traditional KM systems and AI-enabled environments

AI-Enabled Knowledge & Workflow Integration

Co-ordinate with the Firm's Gen AI Committee and Gen AI Project Team to translate legal workflows into structured AI-supported use cases

Curate and prepare high-quality legal content Gen for AI tools

Design and develop training programme to guide lawyers on appropriate and effective use of AI, including validation, limitations and risks

Possess at least four years' experience in a legal professional role in a law firm

Have a law degree from a common law jurisdiction

Have good English communication skills (written and verbal)

Interested in the law and keeping up to date with legal & regulatory developments in Malaysia, Singapore and the region

Interested in technological advances and their potential impact on law firms

Possess good legal research skills

A team player with a can-do attitude
