Network Engineer – Cisco Devices

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform DOA (Dead on Arrival) checks for Cisco routers, switches, and access points.

Carry out staging activities for Cisco routers, switches, and APs prior to deployment.

Perform device configuration, installation, and implementation activities.

Support the installation and configuration of Cisco network devices at branch locations.

Provide on-site technical support in coordination with the design architect.

Troubleshoot and resolve network/device-related issues during installation and deployment.

Validate device connectivity and configuration as part of the implementation process.

Work closely with project managers, architects, branch teams, and other technical stakeholders.

Prepare and maintain as-built documentation and other relevant technical documentation.

Ensure all deployment activities are completed according to the approved design and implementation plan.

Provide support during testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Preferred Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and access points.

Experience in Cisco device staging, configuration, installation, and troubleshooting.

Experience supporting network rollout/deployment projects.

Good understanding of network infrastructure and implementation processes.

Experience working on-site with network/design architects.

Strong documentation and communication skills.
