Senior Software Engineer (.Net, Permanent)

About the job Senior Software Engineer (.Net, Permanent)

Collaborate with technical members to analyze user, business, and system functional requirements, ensuring alignment with delivery objectives

Perform risk assessments to evaluate existing and proposed processes, identify technical constraints, and assess limitations of proposed solutions

Design and build technical solutions based on the Functional Specification Document and Technical Specifications

Conduct code reviews for junior team members and vendors, and review or create documentation related to system releases and deployments

Conduct unit tests to validate development quality, support system testing to address reported errors, and assist in integration and user acceptance testing

Provide incident support by resolving technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, managing stakeholder expectations, and escalating challenges to the next level as necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

More than 5 years of experience in software development using .NET technologies, preferably C#.NET, with experience in the banking or financial sector preferred.

Experience in deploying and maintaining cloud-native .NET applications on Microsoft Azure, including hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Azure messaging services.

Proficient in SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile) with a proven track record of leadership experience.
