Application Engineer

We are seeking an Application Engineer to support and enhance business-critical applications. The role covers application development, system configuration, and production support to ensure stable and reliable system operations.

Key Responsibilities

System Operations & Application Support

Monitor application performance and system jobs to ensure service availability

Investigate and resolve user queries and system incidents

Perform structured troubleshooting across applications, databases, and interfaces

Communicate issue impact and resolution status clearly to stakeholders

Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain applications and components

Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects

Implement functional enhancements and technical improvements

System Configuration & Change Management

Configure and maintain system parameters, workflows, and user access controls

Support deployment activities and post-release verification

Maintain technical documentation for configurations and updates

RequiredQualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field from a local university in Singapore, or equivalent qualification

2–3 years of experience in application development and support

Proficiency in SQL and .NET Core/.NET 6+ (C#)

Understanding of application architecture and system flows

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and proactively

Strong ownership, quick learner, attention to detail, and professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with enterprise-scale systems is preferred, particularly in financial, accounting, or risk management domains
