Summary:

The Senior Architect will lead and manage architectural projects from concept to handover, oversee construction documentation, ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, administer contracts, lead the Design Implementation (DI) team, and involve in office management.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertakes supervisory responsibilities for all projects from inception, conceptualization, and design to project completion.

Monitors and manages execution of all projects through regular review of status and progress with staff from design to completion stages

Conceptualize concept and schematic designs Carry out feasibility studies and present design proposals

Prepares tender documentation, schedules and material specifications

Competent in construction details, and able to do design development

Have an intimate knowledge of Authority code and requirements

Monitor the status of authorities clearances / approvals

Co-ordinate and controls drafting processes.

Able to liaise and discuss project-relevant issues with clients

Able to liaise, coordinate and lead consultants and contractors

Able lead and manage a team of architectural personnel

Oversees progress of on-site work and resolves any arising issues

Ensures design quality.

Requirements:

Recognized Degree in Architecture preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore

Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural experience running BIM projects

Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices

Knowledge of computer 3D and presentation programs such as Microstation, Revit, Photoshop and Sketchup

Flair in design, ability to sketch fast and produce good design concepts

Conversant with local codes and regulations.
