Electrical & Electronics Engineer

Job Summary

Conduct product evaluation and testing to ensure quality and reliability. Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot, analyze failures, and support product development and continuous improvement.

Job Description:

Conduct product evaluation and verification testing following established test plans and document results for analysis and future reference

Perform failure analysis and troubleshoot defective products and components to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions

Evaluate and select components from the Approved Vendor List (AVL) by comparing specifications to support value engineering and alternative sourcing initiatives

Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, including assembly drawings, parts drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM)

Analyze test data and provide recommendations to improve product performance, quality, and reliability

Provide technical and documentation support during prototype builds, production sample builds, and product development activities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous product improvement

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in product design and development, including microcontroller/microprocessor-based design

Minimum 2 years of experience in product testing, failure analysis, and use of test equipment for troubleshooting

Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit fundamentals, and ability to read engineering drawings/schematics

Familiarity with mechanical control systems and communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, RS232, Parallel, USB, and SATA

Experience in BOM management, component selection, or value engineering

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines and willingness to work overtime when required
