Android Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

. Design and implement new user-facing features for Android applications

. Build stable, efficient, and high-performance code with strong attention to user experience

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features at scale

. Integrate third-party APIs and data sources, including real-time and low-latency services

. Write unit tests and improve robustness, reliability, and edge-case handling

. Troubleshoot issues, fix critical bugs, and continuously improve app performance

. Participate in technical and architectural discussions and contribute to long-term product direction

. Work on performance optimization across memory, layout, battery, rendering, networking, and cold start

. Support modularization, codebase maintainability, and large-scale refactoring efforts

. Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and engineering quality standards

Required Qualifications:

. 5+ years of Android development experience

. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java

. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and Android fundamentals

. Deep knowledge of Android system architecture, lifecycle, and UI rendering

. Experience with Jetpack components such as ViewModel and Room

. Experience with Retrofit, Ok and modern Android networking patterns

. Hands-on experience with MVVM/MVI and modular app architecture

. Proven track record of performance optimization and issue diagnosis

. Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools such as Profiler, Systrace, Perfetto, and LeakCanary

. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
