Senior Software Engineer | Energy & Commodities | Singapore | S$10k-S$15k + Bonus

RJC is partnering with a leading global energy and commodities business that's looking to make its first permanent software engineering hire in Singapore. The successful candidate will work closely with Risk, Finance and Product teams in Singapore, helping develop and support the applications that underpin a global commodities business.

This is a high-visibility opportunity for a senior engineer who wants genuine ownership. You'll combine hands‑on development with L3 support, working directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve complex issues and deliver new functionality across a modern Azure-based environment.

You’ll be working on:

Developing and enhancing applications using .NET, C# and Angular

Working closely with Risk, Finance and Product teams across Singapore

Building and maintaining applications hosted within Azure

Developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Providing L3 technical support and resolving complex production issues

Contributing to transformation projects and the ongoing evolution of the technology estate

The ideal Senior Software Engineer will have:

7+ years' commercial software engineering experience

Strong Angular experience - this is essential

Experience with SQL Server and Azure

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices

Previous experience within commodities, energy, trading, investment banking, hedge funds, shipping or another relevant financial environment
