Job Description

What the role is

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists.

Responsibilities

Conceptualise, design and build Android apps using Java/Kotlin and Native C programming

Conceptualise, design and build iOS apps using Swift programming

Perform unit tests to ensure usability, robustness, edge‑case coverage and general reliability

Collaborate with fellow developers using a software version control system

Qualifications

Knowledge of Android Studio, Java, Android SDK, and Android architecture

Knowledge of Xcode, Swift, iOS SDK, and iOS architecture

Knowledge of both Android and iOS programming

Knowledge of software version control tools (e.g., GIT, SVN)

Experience with RESTful programming using JSON and XML

Knowledge of setting up a web server using the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) platform
