Senior Java Full Stack with React

Project Description:

To support enterprise application development and enhancement activities for a financial services project, covering backend microservices, frontend applications, API development, integration and cloud-native deployment.

Responsibilities:

o Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

o Develop and enhance scalable Microservices-based applications and REST APIs.

o Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular and React.

o Work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development.

o Develop and support Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture where applicable.

o Integrate frontend applications with backend Microservices and REST APIs.

o Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.

o Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.

o Work with Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous communication.

o Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

o Deploy and support applications on AWS and Azure.

o Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting and production support.

o Participate in Agile development, code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills Description:

o 8+ years of working experience

o Strong hands-on experience in Java development.

o Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

o Strong experience in REST API development and integration.

o Strong experience with React.

o Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.

o Experience with Micro Frontends (MFE).

o Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

o Experience with Jenkins and Git and CI/CD practices.

o Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.

o Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

o Good experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.

o Strong understanding of enterprise application development and SDLC.

o Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

o Experience with Node.js, Express.js or NestJS.

o Experience with GraphQL, Redux or Vue.js.

o Experience in financial services / banking projects.

o Experience with cloud-native application development and DevOps practices.
