Software Test Automation Engineer

JOB TYPE:

24 Months Renewable contract

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute

automated test solutions.

Perform testing

across devices, UI, embedded systems and/or back-office applications.

Design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

Execute SIT, UAT, functional, regression and performance testing as required.

Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.

Collaborate with developers, business teams and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

Support test planning, execution, reporting and deployment activities.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing and automation processes

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in

Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering

Minimum

5+ years of experience

in software testing and test automation.

3+ years of testing experience on Windows OS

.

Experience in

test automation development and execution

for devices, UI/embedded systems, or back-office applications.

Good understanding of the

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

.

Unix/Linux, Embedded or Cloud testing experience.

Testing certification.

Experience with Micro-payments / Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) / Smart Card systems.

SIT, UAT and Performance Testing experience.

Experience with Jira, Xray, Confluence, GitLab CI/CD or similar DevSecOps tools.

API security testing and microservices security validation.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
