Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor)

About the role:

We are looking for a hands-on Equipment Service Engineer to support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of automation equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems and equipment

Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic components, controllers, and software issues

Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes for effective resolution

Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers within SLA timelines

Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues efficiently

Prepare timely and accurate service reports and documentation

Conduct onsite machine testing and ensure customer requirements are met

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field

3 years experience in equipment servicing, automation systems, or machine maintenance

Able to read electrical/electronic circuits and machine log files

Familiar with robot software, PC software setup, troubleshooting and electrical components such as servo motors and robots

Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Willingness to travel for overseas assignments on short notice
