The IT M&A Integration Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the overall post-merger integration activities specific to IT, with a particular on harmonization and technical transition to an existing global IT infrastructure and operating model. This role ensures the seamless integration of acquired entities into the existing organizational structure, focusing on both strategic and operational aspects of IT and business processes. The role will be supported by an ERP integration manager.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute IT integration strategies for post-merger activities, including planning, coordination, and oversight of all IT-related initiatives.
Manage carve-out and merger integration projects , ensuring timely and effective separation or consolidation of IT systems and business processes.
Establish and monitor Transitional Service Agreements (TSA) , ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and timelines.
Coordinate migration and harmonization of ERP systems, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), and business applications across multiple entities.
Ensure compliance with information security, IT security, and data protection requirements throughout the integration process.
Lead cutover activities , including data separation, validation, and physical or virtual server migrations.
Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions for integration projects, including cloud migration, network separation, and workplace services.
Consolidate and harmonize IT systems across multiple locations and countries, supporting large-scale client and site environments.
Manage technical transitions , such as LAN upgrades, WAN rollouts and facilities set up.
Oversee integration of IT service management processes , including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Configuration, Service Level, Capacity, Availability, Continuity, and Supplier Management.
Ramp up regional IT support organizations to meet integration demands.
Facilitate stakeholder communication , ensuring alignment between management, technical teams, and external partners.
Support integration of business partners , ensuring seamless connectivity and process alignment.
Experience
Over 15 years of experience in IT project management, leadership roles, and technical consulting, with a strong focus on M&A, carve-out, and outsourcing projects.
Proven track record in managing complex, international integration projects for medium-sized global companies, including projects in Asia and Europe.
Experience in leading technical teams, managing a diverse team of business and IT employees, and coordinating multiple service and project managers.
Hands-on expertise in IT infrastructure design, cloud migration, ERP separation and integration, and business application rollout.
Successful execution of carve-out projects, including the setup of separate IT infrastructures, cloud platforms, and ERP systems for newly formed entities.
Additional Facts
Fluent in English.
Extensive international project experience, including work in Europe and Asia.
Willingness to extensively travel in Asia and Europe.
Strong background in IT security, data protection, and compliance.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical stakeholders.
Very good problem-solving competencies.
Experience working in an international project with different cultures, languages and time-zones.
This is a contract role for 24 months.
