Responsibilities

Design, implement, and enhance monitoring for servers and database instances to provide a comprehensive overview of health on-demand and historically

Design, implement, maintain, and automate the appropriate backup and recovery architecture as required

Develop and maintain database solutions, including schema design, optimization, and performance tuning

Automate and streamline database-related tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues

Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Database Administrator

Proficient in database technologies such as MSSQL Server, NoSQL

Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques

Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining backup and recovery strategies

Familiarity with cluster-based setups, delayed replication, and other advanced database concepts

Familiarity with Powershell, Bash, Python for automation purpose.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
