Network Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the implementation and delivery of enterprise network and security solutions for a wide range of customer environments. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in networking technologies who enjoy working on deployment projects, system integration, and customer-facing engagements.

You will work closely with project teams to implement, configure, troubleshoot, and hand over network infrastructure while ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Network Implementation

Deploy, configure, and implement enterprise network and security solutions across customer environments.

Install and commission network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless solutions, firewalls, load balancers, and related networking equipment.

Perform equipment installation, racking, stacking, and on-site implementation activities.

Support the delivery of small to medium-sized infrastructure projects from implementation through project completion.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, configuration, and security-related issues during project implementation.

Perform system validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure stable network performance.

Analyze technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions to minimize deployment risks.

Project & Customer Engagement

Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Operations teams to ensure projects are delivered according to scope and schedule.

Act as a technical point of contact during project implementation and customer acceptance.

Build positive working relationships with customers by providing technical guidance and implementation support.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including Low-Level Design (LLD), Technical Design Specifications (TDS), As-Built documentation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) reports.

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide operational handover to customers and internal support teams upon project completion.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.

1 to 5 years of experience in network implementation, deployment, or project engineering.

Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Spanning Tree, VSS, and Multicast .

Experience with enterprise wireless technologies such as Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Aruba Wireless, Cisco DNAC, Cisco Prime, MSE/CMX, and Ekahau Site Survey .

Familiarity with data center networking technologies, including Cisco Nexus, VDC, vPC, FEX, VXLAN, and ACI .

Knowledge of firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Firepower, Fortinet FortiGate, IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, and IDS/IPS .

Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) platforms such as Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass .

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Current CCNA or CCNP certification.

CCIE certification will be an added advantage.

Experience delivering enterprise network infrastructure projects.

Customer-facing implementation or professional services experience.
