Senior Java Developer

Project Description: Client is looking for a talented and motivated Back-End Developer to join their E-Trading application development team. This is a hands-on role focused on building and enhancing backend eTrading modules for our in-house FX Ecommerce platform.

You will work closely with front-end developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, user-friendly interfaces that support the Technology function in the bank.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend applications using Core JAVA, SpringBoot, restful and streaming based Api servers.

Collaborate closely with other back-end developers to implement seamless client-server API interactions on the Web UI. Also, participate in peer code and design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Work alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers to translate requirements into functional features.

Handle code deployments, releases, and other operational tasks on a rotational basis, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement of the build and deployment processes.

Mandatory Skills Description:

6+ years of strong proficiency in modern Java and unit and integration testing frameworks (Junit etc)

Comfortable using tools such as Bitbucket (Git), Jira, and Confluence.

Experience in Linux, shell scripting etc, security ascepts , SQL based Databases.

DevOps (Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, VeraCode, Artifactory)

Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

Familiarity with agent-based coding assistant tools is a plus.

Financial domain experience is optional, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
