Test Planning & Strategy
Assist in developing comprehensive test strategies and test plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Define test objectives, acceptance criteria and testing priorities based on software requirements and business goals.
Ensure testing activities are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
Test Execution
Perform hands-on manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance and security.
Conduct regression testing, exploratory testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Review test cases and test scripts to ensure accuracy and adequate test coverage.
Test Automation
Support and promote test automation best practices.
Contribute to increasing automation coverage across applications and systems.
Continuously improve test automation infrastructure to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Defect Management
Establish and maintain effective defect-tracking processes.
Ensure defects are properly documented, prioritised, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
Communicate defects, testing progress and outstanding issues to relevant stakeholders.
Test Documentation
Prepare and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases and test reports.
Ensure testing documentation remains accurate, up-to-date and accessible to the team.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with software developers, product managers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues and improve overall product quality.
Provide clear updates on testing progress, results, risks and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
