IT Project Manager (Application & System Projects)

Responsibilities

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and support system design, development, enhancement, and maintenance.

Work closely with solution, technical, and information architects to ensure applications are robust and aligned with enterprise architecture.

Design and deliver high-quality, functional solutions with a strong focus on user experience.

Plan, track, and manage application development, enhancements, and maintenance activities to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Coordinate and support system, user acceptance, and security testing prior to release.

Provide ongoing application support, working with product and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues.

Monitor application performance and service reliability, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve production issues.

Lead and manage development teams, including work planning, task allocation, progress tracking, technical guidance, and delivery oversight.

Requirements

At least 7 years of relevant experience in application development, enhancement, maintenance, and project delivery across the full system development lifecycle.

Proven experience managing application development and maintenance projects with cross-functional product and technical teams.

Hands-on experience in Java application design, development, enhancement, and maintenance.

Knowledge of JavaScript and SQL is a plus.

Experience leading and managing software development teams, including work planning, task allocation, technical guidance, and delivery oversight.

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Product Management, or a related discipline.

Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.

Certifications in Project Management, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analysis are a plus.
