Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

Develop design concepts, space plans, and layout proposals for residential and commercial projects to meet client needs.

Prepare detailed technical drawings, including 2D plans and 3D visuals, using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and aligned with design intent.

Coordinate design details and shop drawings with contractors, suppliers, and fabricators to support project execution.

Conduct site measurements and surveys to provide technical support during project implementation.

Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and client requirements.

Assist senior designers and project managers in preparing presentation boards, material selections, and mood boards.

Manage timely and accurate revisions and updates to drawings as project needs evolve.

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, or equivalent design software.

At least 1-3 years of relevant interior design experience in drafting or detailing; fresh graduates with strong portfolios may be considered.

Strong design aesthetic sense with attention to detailing and technical accuracy.

Effective communication skills to work independently and collaboratively within teams.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Knowledge of joinery and carpentry details and materials to enhance design practicality.
