IT Support Engineer [ Desktop Support / Networking ]

Job Description

IT Support Engineer

5 days (Monday - Friday)

Location: Commonwealth

Basic Salary: $4500 - $6000

Responsibilities:

Provide end-to-end IT support for hardware, software, network connectivity and day-to-day technical issues across the organization.

Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, peripheral and Windows-related issues to ensure smooth business operations.

Manage and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, switches and other network connectivity issues.

Manage Microsoft Active Directory, including user accounts, access permissions, password resets, domain access and basic Group Policy requirements.

Administer and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall to support network security, connectivity and access requirements.

Manage the setup, configuration, deployment and maintenance of computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.

Coordinate with external vendors on IT procurement, quotations, equipment repairs, warranty claims and technical support services.

Maintain IT asset inventory and system documentation, and manage IT support for employee onboarding and offboarding.

Requirements:

Relevant experience in IT support, helpdesk, desktop support or IT infrastructure.

Knowledge in Active Directory, networking, firewalls and Windows environments.

Familiar with Sophos Firewall, including configuration, network access rules, VPN, security policies and troubleshooting.
