Technical Governance Manager (Data Centre)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Manager, Service Assurance

to drive operational governance, audit, and process excellence across regional data centre operations. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in IT operations, service assurance, audit, and process governance who is passionate about improving operational quality and ensuring consistent standards across multiple locations.

Working closely with regional stakeholders, you will lead operational reviews, assess compliance with established processes, identify improvement opportunities, and help strengthen governance frameworks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Compliance

Lead and execute independent audits of operational processes and controls.

Assess compliance with operating procedures, governance standards, and service management practices.

Identify process gaps, risks, and areas of non-compliance.

Prepare audit findings and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Process Governance & Service Assurance

Develop and maintain operational governance frameworks.

Drive process standardization and consistency across regional teams.

Establish and enhance policies, procedures, and operational controls.

Promote best practices and operational excellence initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

Review existing workflows and identify opportunities for optimization.

Implement process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and service quality.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.

Stakeholder Management

Partner with operations, audit, and leadership teams across the region.

Support cross-functional initiatives and governance programs.

Provide guidance on operational standards, controls, and compliance requirements.

IT Service Management

Ensure effective adoption of ITIL-based processes, including:

Incident Management

Change Management

Problem Management

Monitor process effectiveness and service performance against agreed standards.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

Data Centre Operations

IT Operations

IT Audit

Service Assurance

Process Governance

Proven ability to independently conduct audits, reviews, and operational assessments.

Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, audit methodologies, governance, and compliance practices.

Experience driving process improvement, operational excellence, or quality initiatives.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work independently within a lean and collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Exposure to regional or multinational operations environments.

Additional language skills such as Japanese, Korean, or Bahasa.
